What You'll Do
Architect scalable on-device and backend solutions for Camera Firmware Deployments infrastructure, that scales over a million IoT devices and across 3+ Regions / Availability Zones.
Design and implement a fully automated Continuous Delivery infrastructure to set-up canaries for Firmware Release Candidates.
Develop an end-to-end telemetry flow, by collecting data from devices, and converting them to insights over data pipelines.
What You Bring
BS/MS in Computer Science (or similar degree).
3+ years experience of industry experience in distributed software engineering.
Strong Go and Python programming skills, with the ability to write complex systems using clean and concise code.
Comfort with handling scalable systems, that scale up to 1M+ clients and 10k+ QPS.
Experience with Kubernetes and Airflow is a plus. Knowledge for core AWS services such as IAM, S3, RDS, DynamoDB and EKS will help you hit the ground running.
Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
