Role Summary
The SAP Functional Consultant – Product Compliance supports the design and implementation of product stewardship and regulatory compliance processes as part of a global SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role partners closely with North America business stakeholders and global Product Compliance teams to represent regional regulatory requirements while adhering to a standardized global template and governance model. The consultant contributes across the full implementation lifecycle, from fit-to-standard design through deployment and hypercare.
Salary
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $130,000 – $140,000 per year, with actual compensation based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
Your Responsibilities
Partner with a North America Regional Process Expert to represent regional product compliance and
regulatory requirements within a global SAP S/4HANA solution design, while supporting alignment to global template and governance standards
Support end-to-end Product Compliance processes during SAP ECC to S/4HANA implementation, including classification and labeling, dangerous goods, marketability, substance volume tracking (SVT), and safety data sheet (SDS) management
Configure and support SAP Product Compliance solutions including PC Classic, PC Sync, and PC_New in alignment with global design standards
Support integration of Product Compliance with Sales (SD), Transportation Management (TM), logistics, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliant sales, distribution, and transportation of products
Collaborate with master data, integration, labeling, quality, and regulatory teams on Product Compliance-relevant data, interfaces, and non-SAP integrations
Participate in fit-to-standard workshops, system testing (SIT/UAT), cutover activities, and hypercare as part of a global SAP S/4HANA implementation
Qualifications We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent relevant experience)
5+ years of SAP functional experience supporting product compliance, product stewardship, or regulatory processes
Hands-on experience with SAP Product Compliance solutions (PC Classic and/or PC_New)
SAP ECC to S/4HANA implementation experience, preferably within a global or greenfield program
Experience working within global templates and structured governance models
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, dangerous goods, SDS, labeling, and related logistics requirements
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across regional and global teams
Ability to travel up to 20% and work in a hybrid environment
