About the Role
Verkada is building a world-class Sales organization and we need to build the supporting cast to drive a seamless onboarding experience, ensure team readiness, and increase overall productivity. We run Sales Enablement differently at Verkada and give our team members autonomy and ownership to innovate and adapt to drive success. As the Sales Onboarding Training Manager you’ll partner with Sales leadership to drive the end to end ownership and execution of our onboarding program You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with partners and subject matter experts that span across Verkada, gaining exposure from leaders in every department. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a passion for the art and science of sales and a solid understanding of how to operate in a sales support function.

What You'll Do
Develop and Execute Onboarding Programs: Design and manage structured sales onboarding programs that ensure new hires ramp up effectively.
Curriculum Development: in partnership with embedded leads, sales leadership, and cross functional teams, create and deliver high-impact training materials, including self-serve modules, workshops, playbooks, and role-playing exercises.
Facilitation & Training: Lead engaging training sessions through in-person and virtual formats to enhance learning experiences.
Sales Process & Tools Training: Educate new hires on company sales processes, CRM systems, product knowledge, and sales best practices.
Performance Measurement: Track and analyze training effectiveness, using feedback and performance data to improve onboarding programs.
Collaboration: Partner with sales leaders, HR, Marketing, product, and other cross-functional partners to align training with business objectives and sales strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovative learning techniques to enhance training effectiveness.
This is a hands-on role that will be responsible for both managing the Onboarding program as a whole and providing support for training facilitation and content development.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or a related role with a special focus on supporting new hire onboarding training
Strong understanding of adult learning
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Ability to analyze data and assess training program effectiveness.
Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies (e.g., Command of the Message, Challenger, MEDDPIC).
High energy, adaptability, and a passion for developing sales professionals.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Education, or a related field (preferred).

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
