Community Health Centers of America is hiring for an Podiatrist to work in our clinics and partner nursing facilities in the Sacramento, CA area. We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for foot and ankle conditions, ensuring the highest quality of patient care in clinics and partner nursing facilities.
Duties
- Diagnose and treat various foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions
- Perform surgical procedures related to podiatric care
- Provide wound care and management
- Prescribe medications and orthotic devices
- Educate patients on foot health and preventive care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school
Completion of a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency program
Board certification or eligibility in Podiatry
State licensure to practice Podiatry
Strong knowledge in areas such as dermatology, rheumatology, plastic surgery, and pathology
Experience in critical care procedures including catheterization, phlebotomy, ventilation, and dermabrasion techniques
Previous experience working in a teaching hospital or senior care facility is advantageous
Licenses/Certifications: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures
Current BLS/ACLS required
Current DEA required
In depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
