Job description:
DeliverIt Group is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead retail pharmacy operations in Sugar Land, Texas. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist who is confident overseeing daily operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting staff performance, and delivering a high standard of patient care.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Scheduled shifts will be determined based on 40 hours per week.

What You'll Do
Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge in accordance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements
Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations, workflow, staffing, and service quality
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, records, controlled substance procedures, and HIPAA standards
Administer immunizations, provide patient counseling, and support clinical service initiatives
Lead quality assurance, medication safety, and regulatory inspection readiness
Supervise and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members
Monitor prescription volume, staffing needs, and operational efficiency
Support compounding compliance and drug testing chain-of-custody procedures
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
Immunization certification and ability to administer vaccines
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong patient care and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacy Manager, or other pharmacy leadership experience
Experience with MTM and third-party adjudication
Bilingual in English and Spanish ? Experience with PioneerRx and MatchRx software
Experience supporting pharmacy compliance, audits, or quality assurance initiatives
Willingness to learn and perform USP 795 non-sterile compounding
