We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Sea Mar Behavioral Health's diverse and quickly expanding program isseeking a full-time therapist for its Behavioral Health Program inKelso, WA. The Mental Health Therapist Licensed (MHTL) providesindividual and group counseling, case management, crisisstabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning. Inaddition, he or she will provide referrals and coordination withmedication providers, primary care physicians, and with othercommunity agencies. Our therapists must have the ability to accuratelydiagnose mental health issues and develop treatment plans based upondiagnoses. Must be willing to work some later hours (after 5pm) andproviding services may require occasionally meeting with the clientoutside of the office and in the community. This position offers up to $2kper week incentive for productivity._Sponsorship will be considered from Accredited Schools. _LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST DUTIES:This individual provides diagnostic assessments, referrals forpsychiatric services, and case management in coordination with otherteams or parties involved in treatment. The Licensed Mental HealthTherapist is responsible for providing care to chronically illpatients, patients who are part of the Intensive outpatient program,or patients who are considered high utilizers. The Licensed MentalHealth Therapist is responsible for working with CDMHP's, inpatientfacilities, including Western State Hospital, and ensuring properprotocols are followed for hospitalization authorization and duringdischarge planning. In addition, the Licensed Mental Health Therapistprovides individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide riskassessment and treatment plans, and leads groups. The LicensedMental Health Therapist provides therapy to managed care patients thatare pre-authorized to receive mental health treatment. The LicensedMental Health Therapist provides clinical supervision to otherclinicians who are perusing the Licensing requirements. The LicensedMental Health Therapist assists the Program Manager and clinicalsupervisor to conduct clinical chart reviews. In addition, this personsupports the agency efforts to ensure compliance with WACs, RCWs, andclinical contracts. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE FOR A LICENSED THERAPIST: * Must hold a Master's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in psychology, counseling, or social work which includescourse-work in psychological diagnostics. * Four or more years of clinical experience in the field. * Responsible for his/her individual continuing education hours andlicensing fees. The Licensed Mental Health provider must possess anactive, approved license from the Washington State Department ofHealth at all times.
