You'll be at the forefront of a major strategic expansion, supporting the launch of a brand-new division dedicated to broadening the market reach of Harbinger’s proprietary battery technology. This means forging pivotal partnerships with other vehicle manufacturers to electrify their fleets and provide essential auxiliary power solutions.
As a Product Marketing Intern, you won't just be an observer; you'll be a vital contributor. Working closely with our VP of Partnerships – a seasoned professional in the battery and electric mobility space – you’ll help shape the positioning, messaging, product strategy, and go-to-market plans for groundbreaking electric vehicle components and auxiliary power products. You'll collaborate daily with our passionate sales, marketing, and engineering teams, ensuring our outward-facing efforts perfectly align with our revolutionary technology and ambitious business goals. Get ready for direct customer interaction and the exciting opportunity to co-host visitors at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Garden Grove.
Location: Immerse yourself in our innovative culture! This role requires a commitment of 4 days in-office per week at our advanced facility in Garden Grove, CA as well as full-time hours (40 hours a week).
Duration: Start date ideally sometime between October 20 – 27 through December 19, 2025, with potential to extend through March 2026.
Relocation Support: A $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns currently residing more than 50 miles from Garden Grove, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Division Catalyst: Play a crucial role in validating markets and crafting the go-to-market strategy for our new division. This includes identifying key partners, segmenting markets, and laying the foundational positioning for a groundbreaking venture.
Market Intelligence Guru: Become our eyes and ears in the industry. Conduct in-depth competitive analysis, meticulously track emerging trends, and gather invaluable customer insights to fuel our product strategy and marketing campaigns.
Content Creation Powerhouse: Collaborate with our marketing department to build a captivating new website landing page, develop compelling collateral (brochures, presentations), craft engaging LinkedIn posts, write persuasive website copy, and create essential sales enablement materials.
Product Launch Maestro: Be a key player in orchestrating the successful development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product features and launches. See your efforts come to life!
Messaging Architect: Help sculpt clear, differentiated, and highly impactful product messaging and positioning that cuts through the noise and deeply resonates with our target customers.
Sales Enablement & Operations Champion: Provide critical support for the seamless execution of customer quotes and sales orders.
Required Skills:
Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program or greater in related field; an MBA (currently pursuing or completed) is highly preferred
Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time marketing experience, with a strong preference for product marketing expertise. You've been in the trenches and know how to get things done.
Communication Prowess: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling marketing language that inspires action.
Startup DNA: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and thrive working independently in a demanding, fast-paced startup environment. You possess a positive "can-do" attitude and are eager to wear many hats, seamlessly assisting sales and marketing teams across a variety of dynamic activities.
