Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their products. We are building the commercial engine that allows pharmaceutical marketers to take control of their content supply chain—automating compliant, reference-backed marketing at scale.

Why join Solstice

Rapid growth

Over the past year, we’ve partnered with top life sciences manufacturers including Pfizer, Sanofi, and AstraZeneca, and now support 50+ pharma brands.

At the frontier of AI

We are iterating at the edge of applied AI—deploying LLM-based agents, retrieval systems, and compliance workflows directly into production.

Backed to win

We’ve raised $25M+ from top-tier investors and recently closed our Series A. We’re building an elite team to define the next generation of pharma commercial infrastructure.

Building something great requires commitment and conviction. We’re looking for someone who wants to be on the front lines—embedding with customers, solving hard problems, and proving what’s possible.

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Solstice, you’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success.

You will deploy solutions directly into customer environments, deeply understand workflows, and ensure our platform delivers measurable value to real-world pharma marketing teams.

You will:

* Design and implement integrations into enterprise systems

* Customize AI workflows to fit brand-specific regulatory processes

* Troubleshoot production issues and drive rapid iteration

* Translate customer feedback into core product improvements

You’ll collaborate closely with co-founders Yiwen and Aris on product strategy, technical direction, and customer expansion as we scale Solstice into the system of record for compliant pharma marketing.

If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy high ownership, and want to see your work in production at leading pharma organizations, this role is for you.

* Orchestrate background jobs with Celery + Redis (retries, scheduling, idempotency)

* Manage AWS deployments, including secrets, networking, autoscaling, and cost controls

Data & pipelines

* Build scalable file-processing pipelines (PDFs, images, OCR, embeddings, metadata enrichment)

* Work with Postgres, Redis, S3-first architectures, and vector databases (Pinecone)

* Ensure reliability, traceability, and auditability in regulated environments

Product feedback loop

* Translate customer needs into scoped engineering improvements

* Identify repeatable deployment patterns and turn them into platform features

* Help shape Solstice’s roadmap based on frontline insights
