Our client is looking for a Founding AI Agent Engineer to partner directly with the founding team. You will be instrumental in developing the core AI agent layer for their golf coaching service, initially focusing on internal tools to support thousands of golf lessons. This is a unique opportunity to gain technical leadership rapidly and have a direct influence on the company's direction.
Your initial responsibilities will include:
Building an AI agent layer for internal tooling.
Retraining deep learning vision models for local deployment on mobile devices.
Working on stealth projects to support 10x–100x growth.
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and motivated engineer with a proven ability to deliver results quickly.
Must-Haves:
Experience in AI agent development and deployment, with knowledge of APIs like OpenAI and Anthropic.
Background in full-stack application development.
Experience with traditional machine learning and computer vision.
Proficiency in integrating multimodal inputs (video, structured data).
A strong track record of personal projects.
A passion for learning and a genuine interest in the company's mission. You should research our client's mission before interviewing.
Willingness to work on-site in Irvine, CA. Our client will cover relocation costs.
Bonus Points:
Experience at a high-talent-density company (e.g., Runway ML, Scale AI, Anthropic, OpenAI).
A degree from a top computer science program.
Experience with synthetic video generation or pose detection models.
Salary: $240,000–$350,000
