On-site
Rochester, Minnesota, United States
The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a
highly motivated Clinical Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the CT Clinical
Innovation Center, a global leader in medical CT imaging innovation.  The Center
is a multidisciplinary, highly collaborative group focused on developing and
translating novel, high-impact CT technologies into clinical practice. Working
with state-of-the-art clinical and preclinical CT systems, and in close
partnership with leading industry collaborators, the team is highly productive
academically, with numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and patents. The Center

including multiple from the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and
Bioengineering (NIH).

The fellowship is designed for candidates who can contribute meaningfully from
the outset. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently,
managing projects, and driving research forward with appropriate mentorship.

The fellowship requires a minimum one-year commitment, with a strong preference
for two years to maximize academic productivity and project continuity.  Year 1
will focus heavily on gastrointestinal, genitourinary and oncologic imaging,
with opportunities to expand into other domains including thoracic,
cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neurologic imaging – particularly in the
context of photon-counting CT.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and contribute to clinical research projects across multiple CT
applications

* Participate in patient recruitment, patient care, image processing, data
processing and image interpretation.

* Prepare and submit manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.

* Contribute to grant writing.

* Collaborate closely with Center faculty (physicians and physicists), staff

trainees.
