One of their most urgent roles would be that of a Industrial Engineer with material flow experience. They have needs at multiple locations. Job Responsibilities:
Experience in the design and implementation of materials storage, containerization and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Plan for every part (PFEP) development.
Direct and Indirect labor analysis
Fork truck and material handling equipment utilization and optimization
WIP analysis and reduction
Design of material pull systems (Kanban)
Determine appropriate min/max level for warehousing of parts to support an assembly process
Line stocking requirements and material presentation in assembly cells
Kitting and Supermarket strategies to support production
Containerization and dunnage specifications and recommendations
Autocad skills
Auto assembly exp is a plus
Skills:
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
• Team player and detail oriented.
• PFEP (Plan for every part)
• Autocad, plant floor layout
• Kanban, kitting, supermarket is preferred.
• Exp with AGVs is a plus.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2-4 years experience preferred
