About the role
We’re looking for a full-cycle AE to help us define how Anara lands new business across life sciences, biotech and pharma. You’ll partner directly with our founder to close high-value deals that accelerate the pace of scientific discovery.
This is an opportunity to reinvent how scientists discover information and work together. You’ll build the foundation of a sales motion that will impact scientific research for decades to come.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage the full sales cycle for key opportunities, from first touch through demo, proposal, negotiation and close.
Work with the founder, product team and wider growth team to refine messaging, manage pilots and build a repeatable sales playbook.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline by researching prospects, qualifying inbound leads and identifying expansion opportunities within our user base.
Be the voice of the customer internally; advocate for customers by surfacing product or adoption blockers to our product team.
You’re likely a good fit if:
2+ years in a quota-carrying sales role.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and product demo skills.
Have worked in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally another startup) and can drive things forward with relatively little oversight.
Existing relationships in life sciences, biotech, or healthcare enterprises (a plus, not a must).
We’re based in San Francisco with members of the team distributed across the US and Europe.
